Dr. Rebecca Hartley

Dr. Rebecca Hartley was born in Richmond, BC, and attained her medical degree at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. She completed her Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at the University of Calgary.

 

During her residency in Calgary, she was accepted into the Clinician Investigator Program and successfully defended her Master thesis in Epidemiology. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Plastic Surgery at the BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, BC. Dr. Hartley is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary.

 

Dr. Hartley provides thoughtful, evidence-based care for a wide-range of Plastic Surgery conditions, including trauma, hand, nerve, breast, and burns. In addition to providing adult care through Bow River Plastic Surgery and Rockyview General Hospital, Dr. Hartley provides care for children with Plastic Surgery needs at Alberta Children’s Hospital.

 

Dr. Hartley is also a proud mother and partner. When not working, Dr. Hartley enjoys spending time with her family, playing sports and reading.
